Who are the tutors?
The chefs are 2 professionally trained chef tutors, Nev (right) and Jeremy (left), that are incredibly passionate about inspiring people to cook amazing meals in their own home.
How do I book?
If you have a date in mind, call 07771 782838 and check the availability of this date. If the date is available then simply book the course you want online using a debit or credit card and on the customers notes section of the booking process please reconfirm the date you would like.
If you don’t have a date in mind, or you are buying the lesson as a gift then simply buy the course online with your debit or credit card. The purchase is guaranteed for 12 months. Once you have a date simply call 07771 782838 and book a time for your lesson.
Do you do gift vouchers?
Yes we do. They are in multiples of £10.00. You can either buy a whole course or contribute a certain amount to the course. The recipient of the vouchers simply picks the course they would like to do online and then calls us on 07771 782838 to redeem the voucher and book a time for the lesson.
How long are the private lessons?
Approx 3 hours
What level of cooking do you teach?
All levels. We tailor the lesson to the individuals needs. So if you are a complete beginner or a confident cook then we will be able to teach to your specific standard.
How much does a private lesson in my home cost?
It is £125 per person with a minimum of 2 people. There are discounts for booking 3 or 4 people.
Do I have to bring any ingredients?
No. All ingredients are included in the cost. All the meat we use is locally sourced, free range or red tractor food. We try and be as seasonal and local as possible with our other ingredients.
How much food do we cook?
It depends on the course you have chosen but usually for a 1 person lesson there is enough food to feed 2 people.
What about food allergies?
Just let us know before the course if you are allergic to anything and we will make sure that there is nothing in the lesson that you will be unable to eat.
Do you cater for vegetarians and vegans?
Yes we do. We have a veggie inspiration course. If you are vegan, then call me on 07771 782838 and we can design a course that is suitable for a vegan diet.
Does my kitchen need to be large and spotlessly clean for the lesson?
No. We work in many different kitchens and many different ovens. We are not there to judge how clean your oven is, we are there to have fun and teach you how to cook!
For the mobile service, where do you travel too?
We have chefs based in London and Bath. In London we cover everywhere inside the M25. In Bath we travel up to 1 hour from bath to host private lessons. This includes – Bristol, Swindon, Cheltenham, Frome, Salisbury, Warminster, Chippenham. If you are just a bit further away then please still enquire as we can still do the lesson but there will be a travel fee of £.45p per mile after the hour. For corporate events and groups we are available to travel much further – Please enquire within.
Do you teach children?
Yes we do. All we ask is that an adult is present in the house while we conduct the lesson.

What type of food do we cook?
Modern British. We choose local, seasonal produce. It is a celebration of all things south west!
How big is the group?
Between 1 and 4 people. We want to keep the lessons informal, with lots of 1:1 tutoring. Its the best way to learn.
Is the morning tour strenuous?
No. It is a gentle stroll around the city. We stick to Baths valley floor and we don’t attempt to climb any of Baths famous steep hills!
How long is the day?
We start at 10am and we aim to finish between 4pm and 5pm.
Whats included in the price?
The tour of the city, all ingredients, tea/coffee, lunch, tuition, 3 course meal with wine.
